About Us

At S&S Harmony Music Studio, we believe music has the power to inspire, connect, and enrich lives at every age. Founded in 2022, our studio grew out of a passion for sharing music in a warm, supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed many students who came to us after having gaps in their musical foundation. We’ve seen firsthand how important it is to start with a strong technical and musical base from the very beginning. That’s why we take great care to match students with highly qualified, professional teachers — not just anyone who can teach a beginner.

Our teaching philosophy blends quality instruction with encouragement and creativity. We focus on building solid fundamentals, healthy habits, and a lifelong love for music — so students grow with confidence and joy, right from the start.

For decades, I have played the violin with the Claremont Symphony. I previously performed with the American Youth Symphony when Mehli Mehta was the conductor.

I currently play the violin, the piano, and the organ at church. I just started monthly appearances at a senior assisted living facility. I am part of a string quartet called Allegra, and we have recently performed for a wedding, a funeral, and another event.

For over thirty years, I have taught piano and violin to private students. I have also taught general music for grade school children. I look forward to teaching music for many years to come.
